We exist to serve, we are not profit driven, and we are committed to ensuring that we are as effectively as possible in how we reach the community with the Good News of Jesus Christ and by providing essentials to living holistically with continuous improvement of our services and process management to maintain the highest standard in our faith-based walk of life.

First New Life Baptist Church (FNLBC) has been and will continue to be a beacon of hope and restoration. Our affluent history in addition to our spiritual services has offered community programs ranging from health, diet, exercise to proper cooking.  We are an active church acclimated to community development with a primary focus on the Body, the Mind and the Soul for over 23 years.  Yes, our number one commission is to deliver the Word of God in strength and power.

However, we have learned that innovation has been the key to our success in building trust between church and community particularly with our neighborhood youth.  We understand relationship; and the God given power that we have starts with gentleness and meekness. This is how the community has been reached in the past and will continue to be reached in our future.

FNLBC has been dedicated to the task of creating a purpose driven, collaboration of believers with a singular purpose of eliminating historic poverty and dependency inducing systems, through the development of self sustaining community faith-based activities and movements.  We seek to revitalize, unify and empower our community through the services that we provide as Kingdom Builders.

Goals of FNLBC

• To offer real significance to the changing climate of the times through our faith-based alternative programs with care, precision and integrity.
• To launch economic empowerment through life seminars designed to bring together executive leaders from the business, legal and community organizations face to face with residents in the Park Heights area that have need of mental, physical and spiritual change.
• To provide social avenues for the fellowship between church and community (i.e. Health Fairs, Youth Safe Havens, Indoor Family Activities, Community Block Parties, etc.)
• To assist residents and congregants alike in navigating through complex life questions, challenges and problems in the course of various means of positive affirmation as well as Faith Based Counseling and Traditional Counseling methodology.
